The Impersonal Self is wise; wisdom itself. It is perfectly selfless, liberal, fair, just, and therefore supremely happy, as its nature is not to become attached selfishly to anything. Its nature is to manifest a true interest in the welfare and happiness of others, finding its supreme scope of activity and happiness in so doing.

Also, the Impersonal Self is WANTLESS. In itself and its scope of activities there is everything wholly desirable. The Masters of Wisdom have pointed to the knowledge of this Impersonal Self by the admonition: “Know Thyself.” It is by knowing this Impersonal Supreme Self that one becomes, through its complete realization, relatively perfect in many things because of all the harmoniously causal laws being able to freely act. They are ordinarily impeded by selfishness, or the activities of mere personality, and thus man, manifesting mere personality finds himself in the midst of discords when it is his sublime heritage to always manifest the divinity of his True Nature – Complete and Enjoyable Harmony – as it is contained and manifested by the Impersonal True Self.

To some, the fact of being Impersonal may seem to mean that one cannot truly love nor really be of benefit to others, in that the customary interest which the personality has, is absent, and so the basis for an interested attachment to others and material matters seems not to be a very potent factor in the activities of the Impersonal Self. The Impersonal Self, because of its divine nature, gives rather than seeks to take the Wisdom that it freely expresses in various Matters, is Wisdom’s most perfect form of accomplishment. Truly, the Impersonal Self is most powerful in that it freely expresses divinity eternally, whereas the personal self exists but for a brief and discordant span of activity.
